About the album

Olivia Dean's critically acclaimed fusion of pop and neo-soul may well be the best album of its year. She co-produced it herself, alongside a crew that includes Leon Michels of the Dap-Kings orbit, Matt Hales and Zach Nahome, and the result is warm, unhurried and full of little grace notes: horns that sigh rather than blare, harmonies stacked like cushions, lyrics that take love seriously without ever getting heavy.
