![Of Monsters and Men: My Head Is an Animal (2LP) [REPUBLIC]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/41136390/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-of-monsters-and-men-my-head-is-an-animal.jpg)
Of Monsters and Men's 2011 debut My Head Is an Animal on 2LP: "Little Talks," "Mountain Sound" and "King and Lionheart."
My Head Is an Animal made the Icelandic band international stars, and "Little Talks" became one of the defining folk-pop anthems of the 2010s.
Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson trade vocals over a big, joyful sound built on acoustic guitars, horns, glockenspiel and group shouts, full of magical storybook imagery.
"Little Talks" is an irresistible "hey!" singalong, "Mountain Sound" and "King and Lionheart" are soaring and anthemic, and "Dirty Paws" opens the album like a fairy tale. Pure happiness.
