About the album

Seattle's Robin Pecknold and Skyler Skjelset formed Fleet Foxes as teenagers, and by their debut they'd built a sound like no one else: towering, church-choir harmonies, folk and baroque pop, with echoes of the Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash and old Appalachian ballads.

"White Winter Hymnal" and "Ragged Wood" are instantly unforgettable, "Blue Ridge Mountains" and "Meadowlarks" are breathtaking, and the bonus Sun Giant EP adds "Mykonos," "English House" and "Drops in the River." Perfect for a snowy morning.
