Motörhead's 1988 live album Nö Sleep At All, recorded at a festival in Finland, in a 50th anniversary edition with a poster.
This 50th anniversary edition comes with a 24 by 12 inch poster. It captures the Lemmy, Würzel, Phil Campbell and Phil Taylor line-up live in 1988, tearing through "Ace Öf Spades," "Killed By Death" and "Överkill."
Würzel reckoned everybody recorded their live albums at Hammersmith Odeon or the Budokan, so Motörhead went to Finland instead. The band captured Nö Sleep At All at the Giants Of Rock festival in Finland in 1988, with Guy Bidmead producing alongside the band, and the twin-guitar line-up of Würzel and Phil Campbell in full flight.
The set mixes recent songs with the classics. "Dr Röck" and "Traitör" kick things off at a gallop, "Eat The Rich" and "Built För Speed" keep the throttle open, "Ace Öf Spades" and "Killed By Death" arrive like old friends at full volume, and "Överkill" closes the night at full tilt. Phil Taylor drives the whole thing from behind the kit, and Lemmy's bass growls like an engine left running.
Afterwards the band took the show across North America opening for Slayer. Würzel said fans had been asking for a live album from this line-up, and the umlauts, as ever, were included at no extra charge.
