About the album

How do you follow Thriller, the best-selling album of all time? Michael Jackson spent years on the answer, writing dozens of songs with producer Quincy Jones and coming out with a tougher, funkier, more confident record. Bad was all sharp edges and big drums, with Michael writing most of the songs himself.

The hits just kept coming: "Bad," "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Man in the Mirror," "Smooth Criminal," "Dirty Diana" and the duet "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" with Siedah Garrett. Bad 25 adds a second LP of songs from the sessions, including "Price of Fame," "Al Capone" and "Don't Be Messin' Round," plus a third LP with the demos "Streetwalker" and "Fly Away," Spanish and French versions of "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," and remixes by Afrojack and Nero.
