![Mastodon: Leviathan (Sky Blue Vinyl) [RELAPSE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/76393142/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-mastodon-leviathan-sky-blue-vinyl-relaps.jpg)
Mastodon's monstrous 2004 concept album Leviathan, inspired by Moby-Dick, on sky blue vinyl: "Blood and Thunder," "Iron Tusk," "Megalodon" and "Hearts Alive."
Leviathan is a modern metal landmark, a crushing, inventive concept album that made Mastodon one of the most exciting heavy bands of the century.
Built around Herman Melville's whale tale, the album pairs galloping, sludgy riffs with Brann Dailor's astonishing drumming and the dual guitars of Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher.
"Blood and Thunder" is an all-time metal opener, "Iron Tusk" pummels, "Megalodon" twists in surprising directions, and the epic "Hearts Alive" stretches out over thirteen thrilling minutes.
A modern metal landmark, on sky blue vinyl. The whale, still very much in the room.
