About the album

Liam Gallagher has never been shy of a big chorus. On his third solo album he also went looking for new sounds, and it's the most adventurous record he's made on his own.

Andrew Wyatt produced and co-wrote most of it, and the songs stretch well beyond the parka-rock blueprint. "More Power" is dedicated to his brother Noel, "Everything's Electric" is a stomping rock single, and "Too Good for Giving Up" shows off the softer side of that famous voice. "Diamond in the Dark," "Better Days" and the title track all went out as singles, and NME heard Summer of Love anthems throughout. It came out the same day as his live album Down by the River Thames, and he took it on tour across Europe, Oceania and Latin America.

NME called it his best and most experimental solo album, Clash called it his deepest, and it went gold in the UK in 2022. The cover shows fans in the pit at Reading Festival 2021; listening at home gets you a better view and considerably fewer elbows.
