![Kruder & Dorfmeister: The K&D Sessions (5LP Box Set) [!K7]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/39218812/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-kruder-dorfmeister-the-k-d-sessions-5lp.jpg)
Kruder & Dorfmeister's classic 1998 remix collection The K&D Sessions as a 5LP box set: "Bug Powder Dust," "Gone," "Going Under" and "Sofa Rockers."
The K&D Sessions is the defining downtempo record, the Vienna duo's lush, dubby remixes setting the sound of late-90s chill-out and trip hop.
Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister reshaped tracks by Bomb the Bass, Depeche Mode, Roni Size, David Holmes, Lamb and more into slow, smoky grooves of dub bass, jazzy chords and hazy atmosphere, adding two originals of their own.
Their take on Bomb the Bass's "Bug Powder Dust" is iconic, Depeche Mode's "Useless" is remade as a hypnotic slow burn, "Gone" and "Going Under" drift beautifully, and Sofa Surfers' "Sofa Rockers" is irresistibly mellow.
Plenty of time to unwind.
