About the album

Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley and Richard Hughes built their sound on piano, drums and Chaplin's soaring, pure voice rather than guitars, crafting heartfelt, sweeping songs of yearning and nostalgia.

"Somewhere Only We Know" is a timeless anthem, "Everybody's Changing" is wistful and catchy, "This Is the Last Time" and "Bend and Break" soar, and "Bedshaped" closes with breathtaking drama.

No. 1 and a Brit Award. Hopes met, fears allayed.
