Kate Bush's astonishing 1978 debut The Kick Inside: "Wuthering Heights," "The Man with the Child in His Eyes," "Moving" and "Them Heavy People." 2018 remaster.
"Wuthering Heights" made Kate Bush the first woman to top the UK singles chart with a song she wrote herself, and she was still a teenager when she made this album.
Discovered as a teenager with help from Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Kate Bush arrived fully formed on The Kick Inside: piano-led, theatrical, romantic and utterly unique, with a voice that swoops and soars like no one else's. Some of these songs she wrote at just 13.
"Wuthering Heights," inspired by Emily Brontë's novel, is one of the most original debut singles ever, "The Man with the Child in His Eyes" is exquisitely tender, and "Moving," "Them Heavy People" and "Feel It" show off her extraordinary range. Remastered under Kate's supervision in 2018.
