About the album

Harry Styles made his third album mostly during lockdown, and it's his most intimate and playful record: inspired by Japanese city pop of the '70s and '80s, it's full of buttery synths, funky bass lines and warm, homey moments, with songs about staying in, falling in love and checking on your friends.

"As It Was" became one of the biggest hits of the decade, "Late Night Talking" and "Music for a Sushi Restaurant" are pure fun, and "Matilda" is a tender standout. John Mayer, Ben Harper and Pino Palladino pop up as guests. It debuted with Harry's biggest first week ever and won Album of the Year at the Grammys. This edition, made for independent record stores, is on translucent yellow vinyl.
