![Glass Animals: How to Be a Human Being [WOLF TONE / HARVEST]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/39427230/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-glass-animals-how-to-be-a-human-being-wo.jpg)
Glass Animals' colourful 2016 album How to Be a Human Being, eleven songs, eleven characters: "Life Itself," "Youth," "Pork Soda" and "Season 2 Episode 3."
How to Be a Human Being earned a Mercury Prize nomination, a playful, psychedelic pop album where every song tells the story of a different character.
Inspired by strangers' stories the band collected on tour, Dave Bayley crafted vivid, funny and poignant character portraits over squelchy synths, hip hop beats and tropical grooves.
"Life Itself" bounces with tribal drums, "Youth" is tender and uplifting, "Pork Soda" is a cult singalong, "Season 2 Episode 3" is slacker-pop fun, and "Agnes" is heartbreaking.
Note to self: be careful what you tell Glass Animals on tour.
