![Eminem: The Slim Shady LP (2LP) [AFTERMATH / INTERSCOPE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33627427/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-eminem-the-slim-shady-lp-2lp-aftermath-i.jpg)
Eminem's 1999 major-label breakthrough The Slim Shady LP on 2LP, produced with Dr. Dre: "My Name Is," "Guilty Conscience" and "Role Model."
The Slim Shady LP made Eminem a superstar overnight and won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. One of the most influential hip hop records of the 90s.
After Dr. Dre heard his demo, Eminem was signed to Aftermath and recorded The Slim Shady LP in Ferndale, Michigan, with Dre and the Bass Brothers behind the boards. Introducing his outrageous alter ego Slim Shady, it showed off his dazzling rhyming, dark humour and storytelling.
"My Name Is" was the smash introduction, "Guilty Conscience" pairs him brilliantly with Dr. Dre, and "Role Model" and "Bad Meets Evil," with Royce da 5'9", show his lyrical firepower. Parental advisory: explicit lyrics.
