About the album

One could raise the argument that all the Eminem you really need can be found on the perfect one-two punch that was 1999's The Slim Shady LP and 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP, but the hit 2005 best-of set Curtain Call is a pretty good way to keep up with the irascible rapper's early post-millennial output. This easy-to-digest collection gathers all of Mr. Mathers's best-known singles, from "My Name Is" and "Guilty Conscience" to "Stan" and "The Real Slim Shady" to the 8 Mile soundtrack banger "Lose Yourself" and The Eminem Show keeper "Cleanin' Out My Closet" and beyond.

Three new tracks, "Fack," "When I'm Gone" and "Shake That" (featuring Nate Dogg), are added to keep things fresh, while the live performance of "Stan" Eminem did with Elton John at the 2001 Grammy Awards is a nice touch at the end. Ya can't argue with the hits.
