About the album

Following Falling into You, one of the biggest albums of the decade, the Charlemagne, Quebec native went bigger still. Let's Talk About Love was built as a global project, recorded in London, New York and Los Angeles, with a guest list that crosses pop, classical and R&B.

Barbra Streisand duets on "Tell Him," the Bee Gees bring "Immortality," Luciano Pavarotti joins her on "I Hate You Then I Love You," and Diana King and Brownstone add reggae-tinged spark to "Treat Her Like a Lady." "The Reason" was co-written by Carole King and produced by George Martin. David Foster, Ric Wake, Walter Afanasieff, Humberto Gatica and Canada's own Corey Hart shaped the rest, and she covers Leo Sayer's "When I Need You" along the way. Then there's "My Heart Will Go On," James Horner and Will Jennings' love theme from Titanic, which turned a ballad into a worldwide event.

It topped the charts in Canada, the US, the UK, France and Australia, and was among the best-selling albums of both 1997 and 1998. We'd say the tin whistle has never had better publicity, but it's far too modest to bring it up.
