Addison Rae's 2025 debut Addison on yellow marble vinyl, with "Diet Pepsi," "Aquamarine" and "High Fashion."
Addison is a sleek, dreamy pop debut that critics adored, landed top ten in Canada, the UK and the US, and earned Addison Rae a Best New Artist Grammy nod.
Plenty of people had opinions about Addison Rae before they heard a note. Then Addison arrived, and the critics changed their tune: this is a glossy, clever, gloriously breathy pop record, the kind that sounds like a sun-bleached Polaroid of the 2000s.
Rae wrote it with producers Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser, and it's stuffed with hooks. "Diet Pepsi" is a slinky, whispered slow burn, "Aquamarine" glitters, "High Fashion" struts, and "Headphones On" and "Fame Is a Gun" round out a run of five singles.
It debuted at No. 1 in New Zealand. Pop's surprise of the year, and a very pleasant one.
