About the album

Gene and Dean Ween have never made the same album twice, and Quebec bounces from heavy rock to psychedelia, country, prog and gorgeous ballads with their trademark wit and unbelievable musicianship. It was their first album after leaving Elektra, and Josh Freese plays drums on part of it.

"Transdermal Celebration" is a soaring rock anthem, "Zoloft" and "Chocolate Town" are wonderfully weird, "Tried and True" and "The Argus" are stunning, and "If You Could Save Yourself (You'd Save Us All)" closes things on a beautiful note. This pressing comes on orange and magenta vinyl.
