![Tool: Undertow (2LP) [ZOO]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33629693/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-tool-undertow-2lp-zoo.jpg)
Tool's 1993 debut album Undertow on 2LP, produced with Sylvia Massy: "Sober," "Prison Sex," "Intolerance" and "Bottom."
Undertow made Tool one of the most important heavy bands of the 90s, and "Sober" is a towering, slow-burning classic.
Produced by the band and Sylvia Massy at Grand Master Studios in Hollywood, Undertow is heavy, dark and intense, with Adam Jones's crushing riffs, Danny Carey's thunderous drumming and Maynard James Keenan's commanding voice. It's the only album with original bassist Paul D'Amour.
"Sober" is a stunning, slow-building anthem, "Intolerance" is a ferocious opener, "Prison Sex" is menacing and hypnotic, and "Bottom" features a spoken-word turn from Henry Rollins.
"Sober" is a towering classic. Undertow, very strong.
