![The Offspring: Americana [UNIVERSAL]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33625311/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-the-offspring-americana-universal.jpg)
Offspring's 1998 smash Americana: "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)," "The Kids Aren't Alright," "Why Don't You Get a Job?" and "She's Got Issues."
Americana debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, the highest chart peak of any Offspring album, and it's wall-to-wall punk-pop hits.
Dexter Holland, Noodles, Greg K. and Ron Welty followed Ixnay on the Hombre with a sharp, funny, hook-loaded record produced by Dave Jerden, skewering suburban life with fast punk riffs and big singalong choruses.
"Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" is a goofy, unstoppable smash, "The Kids Aren't Alright" is one of their best songs, "Why Don't You Get a Job?" bounces along, and "Have You Ever" and "Staring at the Sun" rip.
