![The 1975: The 1975 (2LP) [DIRTY HIT / POLYDOR]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33616080/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-the-1975-the-1975-2lp-dirty-hit-polydor.jpg)
2LP of the 1975's 2013 debut, a UK No. 1: "Chocolate," "Sex," "The City," "Robbers" and "Girls."
The 1975's debut topped the UK Albums Chart and sold more than a million copies in the US, launching one of the defining bands of the 2010s. "Chocolate" and "Robbers" are fan anthems.
After years of playing around Manchester and four buzzy EPs, Matty Healy, George Daniel, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald finally put out their debut in 2013, and it shot straight to No. 1 in the UK. It's a widescreen mix of '80s synth-pop, glossy guitar riffs and John Hughes-movie romance, all filtered through Healy's sharp, self-aware lyrics.
"Chocolate" and "The City" are irresistible, "Sex" and "Girls" are pure swagger, and "Robbers" became the slow-burn anthem fans still scream at every show. Spread over two LPs, it's a great place to start with the band.
