![Stevie Wonder: Innervisions [TAMLA / MOTOWN]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33623516/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-stevie-wonder-innervisions-tamla-motown.jpg)
Stevie Wonder's Grammy-winning 1973 masterpiece Innervisions: "Higher Ground," "Living for the City," "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing" and "Golden Lady."
Innervisions won the Grammy for Album of the Year and is one of the greatest albums ever made, a visionary blend of funk, soul, jazz and social commentary.
Playing nearly every instrument himself and working with synth pioneers Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff, Wonder crafted a sound full of TONTO synthesizer textures, clavinet funk and luminous melodies.
"Higher Ground" is a funk juggernaut, "Living for the City" is a powerful urban epic, "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing" bounces with Latin flair, "Golden Lady" glows, and "Visions" is dreamy and profound.
Wonder played nearly everything himself; TONTO handled the rest.
