About the album

Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Sid Vicious (with original bassist Glen Matlock on "Anarchy in the U.K.") blew British rock wide open with sneering vocals, a wall of Steve Jones' layered guitars and songs that still feel dangerous decades later.

"Holidays in the Sun" stomps in, "Anarchy in the U.K." and "God Save the Queen" are punk's defining anthems, "Pretty Vacant" is a gloriously snotty singalong, and "E.M.I." closes with a parting shot at their old label.
