Sam Fender's 2025 Mercury Prize-winning album People Watching: "People Watching," "Arm's Length," "Little Bit Closer" and "Nostalgia's Lie."
People Watching went to number one in the UK and won the 2025 Mercury Prize, a soaring heartland-rock statement from one of Britain's biggest rock stars.
North Shields singer-songwriter Sam Fender made his third album with Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs and Markus Dravs, building big, Springsteen-sized songs with soaring saxophone, shimmering guitars and lyrics full of love for his friends, family and hometown.
The title track is a stirring anthem, "Arm's Length" and "Little Bit Closer" are joyous and catchy, and "Nostalgia's Lie" and "Remember My Name" show off his storytelling gifts.
