About the album

Written mostly by David Gilmour and Richard Wright with lyrics by Gilmour and Polly Samson, The Division Bell is a record about communication, with Wright singing lead for the first time since The Dark Side of the Moon and Gilmour's guitar soaring over everything.

"Cluster One" eases you in, "Coming Back to Life" and "Keep Talking" (featuring Stephen Hawking's voice) are classic Floyd, "Marooned" won the Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental, and the closing "High Hopes," with its tolling bell, is breathtaking.
