About the album

Brendon Urie and his Las Vegas bandmates were still teenagers when they made this debut, mixing emo-pop guitars with electronic beats on the first half and vaudeville piano, accordion and strings on the second. Its long, witty song titles became part of the legend.

"I Write Sins Not Tragedies" with its famous circus-wedding video is an all-time favourite, "But It's Better If You Do" and "Time to Dance" are high-energy hits, and "Camisado" and "Build God, Then We'll Talk" show off the band's flair for drama.
