![Modest Mouse: The Moon & Antarctica (2LP) [EPIC / LEGACY]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33616566/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-modest-mouse-the-moon-antarctica-2lp-epi.jpg)
Modest Mouse's acclaimed 2000 album The Moon & Antarctica on 2LP: "3rd Planet," "Gravity Rides Everything," "Tiny Cities Made of Ashes" and "Paper Thin Walls."
The Moon & Antarctica is often called Modest Mouse's masterpiece, a sprawling, cosmic, wonderfully strange indie rock record.
Their first album for a major label, The Moon & Antarctica finds Isaac Brock, Eric Judy and Jeremiah Green expanding their sound with producer Brian Deck, adding atmosphere, space and experimentation to their jagged, wiry indie rock.
"3rd Planet" is a mesmerising opener, "Gravity Rides Everything" is breezy and catchy, "Tiny Cities Made of Ashes" stomps and swaggers, and "Paper Thin Walls" and "The Stars Are Projectors" are brilliant and unexpected.
