![MJ Lenderman: Manning Fireworks [ANTI-]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/65859193/1652x1652x2/mj-lenderman-manning-fireworks-anti.jpg)
MJ Lenderman's 2024 breakout, one of the most acclaimed albums of the year: "She's Leaving You," "Joker Lips," "Wristwatch" and "Rudolph."
On order
Manning Fireworks scored universal acclaim (88 on Metacritic) and made the Wednesday guitarist one of indie rock's most beloved songwriters. His friends from Wednesday play on it too.
MJ Lenderman cut Manning Fireworks at Drop of Sun Studios in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina, with co-producer Alex Farrar and his Wednesday bandmates Karly Hartzman, Xandy Chelmis and Ethan Baechtold pitching in. It's loose, funny and big-hearted, with rusty-wire guitar solos and lines you'll be quoting to your friends for weeks.
"She's Leaving You" is a Crazy Horse-sized rocker, "Joker Lips" and "Wristwatch" are sharp little character sketches, and the nine-minute closer "Bark at the Moon" stretches out beautifully. Fans of Neil Young, Silver Jews and Drive-By Truckers will feel right at home.
