About the album

Recorded largely at Cohen's home in Los Angeles with his son Adam producing, the album surrounds his deep, intimate baritone with a synagogue choir, strings, organ and gentle grooves as he reflects on faith, love and mortality.

The title track is hypnotic and stirring, "Treaty" is heartbreakingly tender, "Traveling Light" has a lovely Greek-tinged melody, and "Steer Your Way" is grave and graceful.

Made at home, with family at the controls. Late at night, in good company or none.
