![The Last Shadow Puppets: Everything You've Come to Expect [DOMINO]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/40983676/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-the-last-shadow-puppets-everything-youve.jpg)
Second album from the Last Shadow Puppets (2016), Alex Turner and Miles Kane's lush, cinematic return: "Bad Habits," "Aviation," "Miracle Aligner" and "Sweet Dreams, TN."
Everything You've Come to Expect went to No. 1 in the UK, with Owen Pallett's string arrangements wrapping Alex Turner and Miles Kane's swaggering, retro-glam songs in velvet.
Eight years after their debut, Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and his old friend Miles Kane reunited the Last Shadow Puppets, with producer James Ford on drums and Canadian composer Owen Pallett on string arrangements. The result is a gorgeous, slinky, late-'60s-inspired record full of Scott Walker strings and Serge Gainsbourg swagger.
"Aviation" and "Miracle Aligner" glide, "Bad Habits" is a frantic, string-slashing rocker, "Sweet Dreams, TN" is a lovelorn crooner, and the title track is pure Technicolor. A must for Arctic Monkeys fans who love Tranquility Base.
