Kraftwerk's 1978 electronic pop landmark The Man-Machine: "The Model," "The Robots," "Neon Lights" and "Metropolis." On transparent red vinyl.
The Man-Machine is one of the most influential electronic albums ever made, and "The Model" became a UK number one when it was reissued in 1981.
Kraftwerk refined their robotic, precise sound into something more immediate and danceable on The Man-Machine, laying the foundations for synth-pop, electro and techno. The iconic red-and-black cover, inspired by Russian constructivism, is as famous as the music.
"The Robots" is a playful, mechanical anthem, "The Model" is a perfect synth-pop single, "Neon Lights" is gorgeous and dreamy, and "Metropolis" pulses with futuristic energy.
