![Kaleo: A/B [ELEKTRA / ATLANTIC]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33634155/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-kaleo-a-b-elektra-atlantic.jpg)
Icelandic blues-rockers Kaleo's 2016 album A/B: "Way Down We Go," "No Good" and "All the Pretty Girls."
A/B introduced Kaleo to the world, and "Way Down We Go" became a huge international hit, featured in countless films, TV shows and trailers.
Kaleo come from the small town of Mosfellsbær in Iceland, and singer JJ Júlíusson's gritty, soulful voice drives their blend of bluesy rock, folk and Americana. As the title suggests, A/B splits into a heavier, rocking A side and a gentler B side.
"Way Down We Go" is a dark, stomping gospel-blues hit, "No Good" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance, "All the Pretty Girls" is a tender falsetto ballad, and "Vor í Vaglaskógi" is sung beautifully in Icelandic.
