About the album

Produced by Dave Cobb, Southeastern is spare, intimate and powerful, with Isbell's warm voice and acoustic guitar at the centre and Amanda Shires adding fiddle and harmonies to songs of love, renewal and second chances.

"Cover Me Up" is one of the great modern love songs, "Traveling Alone" is gorgeous, "Stockholm" and "Flying Over Water" shimmer, and "Super 8" rips with rock 'n' roll energy.
