About the album

Keeping a secret identity is hard work. By season two, Miley Cyrus's double life as Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana had become a full-on phenomenon, and the songs grew from in-jokes about the show into proper pop singles speaking straight to the fans. On the original double album these songs shared space with Meet Miley Cyrus, her debut under her own name on Hollywood Records.

"Nobody's Perfect" and "Life's What You Make It" both came from Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil and both climbed into the Hot 100's top 30, "Make Some Noise" and "Rock Star" add a pop-rock crunch, and "True Friend" closes on a tender note. "We Got The Party" opens the set with Kara DioGuardi and Greg Wells behind it, and "One In A Million" comes from Toby Gad. Andy Dodd and Adam Watts wrote "Make Some Noise," and "Old Blue Jeans" comes from Michael Bradford and Pam Sheyne.

The songs powered the Best Of Both Worlds Tour, which grossed $54 million. We can neither confirm nor deny that someone on staff still knows the dance moves.
