About the album

Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Steve Hackett, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins were at the peak of their powers on their fifth album, a witty, whimsical and sometimes thunderous meditation on English identity. Banks' keyboards, Hackett's pioneering guitar tapping and Collins' nimble drumming are all in top form.

"Dancing with the Moonlit Knight" opens with Gabriel a cappella, "Firth of Fifth" has one of the most celebrated guitar solos in prog, "I Know What I Like" became their first UK hit, and "The Cinema Show" ends in a glorious instrumental workout. Half-speed mastering brings out every detail.
