About the album

Conceived by Gabriel as a story about Rael, a young Puerto Rican man in New York drawn into a strange underworld, the album finds Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Steve Hackett and Phil Collins at their most adventurous.

The title track is a thrilling opener, "The Carpet Crawlers" is hauntingly beautiful, "Back in N.Y.C." bristles with attitude, and "In the Cage" and "The Colony of Slippermen" are dazzling, twisting epics.
