About the album

After Nirvana, Grohl booked Robert Lang Studios in Seattle with producer Barrett Jones and played nearly every instrument himself, making a record of fuzzy, melodic, joyous rock that became the blueprint for the band.

"This Is a Call" is a rousing opener, "I'll Stick Around" roars, "Big Me" is a sweet pop gem, "For All the Cows" swings between jazzy verses and big choruses, and "Exhausted" closes heavy and hazy.
