About the album

Dominic Fike grew up in Naples, Florida, and Sunburn sounds like it: lazy, hazy afternoons, palm trees, and the occasional storm cloud rolling in. Working mainly with producers Jim-E Stack, Devin Workman and Henry Kwapis, he bounces between jangly guitar pop, laid-back rap and bedroom R&B, often inside the same two-and-a-half-minute song.

"Ant Pile" and "Dancing in the Courthouse" are short, sharp and catchy, "Think Fast" brings in Weezer and borrows a bit of "Undone (The Sweater Song)," "Bodies" features Remi Wolf, and "Mama's Boy" and "Dark" show his softer side. It's the perfect record for a long drive with the windows down.
