![Death: Human [RELAPSE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33616328/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-death-human-relapse.jpg)
Death's 1991 technical death metal landmark Human, with Paul Masvidal, Sean Reinert and Steve Di Giorgio: "Lack of Comprehension," "Flattening of Emotions" and "Cosmic Sea."
Human is regarded as one of Death's greatest albums and a cornerstone of technical death metal, with Chuck Schuldiner leading a dream lineup.
Chuck Schuldiner pushed Death into new territory on Human, recruiting Cynic's Paul Masvidal on guitar and Sean Reinert on drums, plus bassist Steve Di Giorgio. The playing is dazzlingly technical, and the lyrics turn introspective.
"Flattening of Emotions" opens at full tilt, "Lack of Comprehension" became one of the band's signature songs, "Together as One" and "See Through Dreams" are relentless, and the instrumental "Cosmic Sea" is spacey and atmospheric.
