![Death: ...For the Whole World to See [DRAG CITY]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/46416784/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-death-for-the-whole-world-to-see-drag-ci.jpg)
Death's long-lost 1975 recordings ...For the Whole World to See, ferocious Detroit proto-punk from the Hackney brothers: "Politicians in My Eyes" and "Keep on Knocking."
Recorded in 1975 and finally heard in 2009, this blistering record revealed Death as true punk pioneers, years ahead of their time.
Brothers David, Bobby and Dannis Hackney played raw, fast, riff-heavy rock in Detroit before punk had a name, but their tapes sat unheard for decades until Drag City brought them to the world.
"Keep on Knocking" is a pounding rush, "Rock-N-Roll Victim" rips, "Politicians in My Eyes" is a furious, shape-shifting epic, and "Let the World Turn" shows off their ambitious, proggy side.
