![Danzig: Danzig (Indie Exclusive, White Vinyl) [DEF AMERICAN / AMERICAN]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/75872557/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-danzig-danzig-indie-exclusive-white-viny.jpg)
Danzig's 1988 debut, produced by Rick Rubin: "Mother," "Twist of Cain" and "She Rides." Indie store exclusive on white vinyl.
Danzig's debut was the very first album on Rick Rubin's Def American label, and "Mother" became a rock radio staple.
After the Misfits and Samhain, Glenn Danzig teamed up with guitarist John Christ, bassist Eerie Von and drummer Chuck Biscuits for a heavy, bluesy, stripped-down sound, produced by Rick Rubin. His powerful, Elvis-meets-Jim Morrison croon is front and centre.
"Mother" is a swaggering, unforgettable classic, "Twist of Cain" opens with a bang, "She Rides" is slow and sultry, and "Soul on Fire" and "The Hunter" (an Albert King cover) groove with menace.
