![Cocteau Twins: Treasure (Remastered) [4AD]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/40757235/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-cocteau-twins-treasure-remastered-4ad.jpg)
Cocteau Twins' ethereal 1984 dream-pop landmark Treasure, remastered: "Lorelei," "Persephone," "Ivo" and "Beatrix."
Treasure is the record where Cocteau Twins became the classic trio of Elizabeth Fraser, Robin Guthrie and Simon Raymonde, and it's a defining work of dream pop.
Robin Guthrie's shimmering, reverb-drenched guitars and drum machines, Simon Raymonde's melodic bass and Elizabeth Fraser's otherworldly voice, singing in words that feel more like pure sound than language, make Treasure utterly unique.
"Lorelei" is soaring and magical, "Ivo" is a gorgeous opener, "Persephone" builds with drama, and "Beatrix" and "Pandora (for Cindy)" are delicate and dreamy.
