About the album

John Fogerty and CCR packed an incredible run of hit singles into just a few years, blending swampy roots rock, rockabilly, country and soul into songs that still sound fresh. Chronicle collects all the big A-sides and a handful of favourite B-sides.

"Proud Mary," "Green River," "Up Around the Bend" and "Travelin' Band" are pure rock and roll joy, "Fortunate Son" is a fiery anthem, "Lookin' out My Back Door" is a sunny singalong, and the 11-minute "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" is a jam for the ages.
