Recorded with the E Street Band over two years in New York, Born in the U.S.A. took the working-class stories of Nebraska and blasted them out of arena-sized speakers. Max Weinberg's thundering drums, Roy Bittan's synths and Clarence Clemons' sax made it the perfect soundtrack to the summer of 1984, and every summer since.

"Dancing in the Dark," "Glory Days," "Cover Me," "I'm on Fire," "I'm Goin' Down," "My Hometown" and the title track were all top-ten hits, and "Bobby Jean" and "No Surrender" are fan favourites. Pure rock and roll joy.
