![Boston: Boston [EPIC / LEGACY]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33149030/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-boston-boston-epic-legacy.jpg)
Boston's 1976 debut, one of the best-selling debut albums ever: "More Than a Feeling," "Peace of Mind," "Foreplay/Long Time" and "Rock & Roll Band."
Boston was the best-selling debut album in US history at the time and has sold more than 17 million copies in the US alone. Nearly every song is still a classic rock radio staple.
Engineer and guitarist Tom Scholz built Boston in his basement studio, crafting demos with singer Brad Delp until Epic signed the band. Scholz recorded most of the album himself at home, layering soaring harmony guitars, Hammond organ and Delp's stratospheric vocals into what he called the "Boston sound."
"More Than a Feeling" is one of the most perfect rock singles ever made, "Peace of Mind" and "Rock & Roll Band" are joyous, "Foreplay/Long Time" is a soaring prog-tinged epic, and "Smokin'" and "Something About You" keep the energy sky high.
