![Boards of Canada: In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country [WARP]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/51510426/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-boards-of-canada-in-a-beautiful-place-ou.jpg)
Boards of Canada's hazy 2000 EP In a Beautiful Place Out in the Country: "Kid for Today," "Amo Bishop Roden," "Zoetrope" and the title track.
This four-track EP is a fan-favourite slice of Boards of Canada's warm, wobbly, nostalgic electronica, made between Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi.
Scottish brothers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin craft woozy analogue synths, tape hiss and crisp, laid-back beats into music that feels like half-remembered childhood film strips.
"Kid for Today" drifts dreamily, "Amo Bishop Roden" glows with eerie warmth, the title track hides voices in its sunny haze, and "Zoetrope" closes in a gentle loop.
A beautiful place, very easy to find.
