About the album

Geordie Greep, Cameron Picton and Morgan Simpson cut most of Hellfire in just thirteen days with producer Marta Salogni, building a vivid concept record of rogues, soldiers and boxers told in a rush of virtuosic playing and cinematic twists and turns.

"Welcome to Hell" is a breathless, brass-punctuated thrill ride, "Sugar/Tzu" sounds like a boxing match set to music, "Eat Men Eat" swings between flamenco and frenzy, and "The Defence" is an unexpectedly tender, lounge-y beauty.
