About the album

Working with producers including Rich Harrison, The Neptunes, Swizz Beatz, Rodney Jerkins and Stargate, Beyoncé made a bold, horn-blasting, go-go and funk-inflected record about independence and self-worth.

"Déjà Vu" with Jay-Z bursts with live horns and bass, "Irreplaceable" is an all-time kiss-off anthem, "Ring the Alarm" is ferocious, "Get Me Bodied" is a dance party, and "Upgrade U" swaggers.
