![Aqua: Aquarium (UK Import) [UNIVERSAL UK]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/75469733/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-aqua-aquarium-uk-import-universal-uk.jpg)
Aqua's 1997 bubblegum dance-pop debut Aquarium, UK import: "Barbie Girl," "Doctor Jones," "Turn Back Time" and "Lollipop (Candyman)."
Aquarium made the Danish-Norwegian group a worldwide sensation, and "Barbie Girl" remains one of the most recognisable pop songs ever.
Lene Nystrøm, René Dif, Søren Rasted and Claus Norreen created a bright, cartoonish, hook-stuffed sound that ruled the late 90s, mixing Eurodance beats with playful vocals and irresistible melodies.
"Barbie Girl" is a pop phenomenon, "Doctor Jones" is an adventurous romp, "Turn Back Time" is a lovely, dreamy ballad, and "Lollipop (Candyman)" and "My Oh My" are pure sugar-rush fun.
