About the album

Amyl and the Sniffers started out playing sweaty pub gigs in Melbourne, and by their third album they were selling out theatres around the world. Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Nick Launay, Cartoon Darkness keeps the pub-punk fury but adds bigger hooks, sharper riffs and even a few slow moments.

"Jerkin'" and "Chewing Gum" are ferocious, "U Should Not Be Doing That" is irresistibly catchy, "Big Dreams" shows a tender side, and "Tiny Bikini" is pure fun. Loud, funny and full of heart.
