About the album

Amy Winehouse drew on the 1960s girl groups and classic soul she loved, working with producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi and Sharon Jones' band, the Dap-Kings. The result is a timeless record that sounds like a lost Motown gem, carried by one of the greatest voices of her generation.

"Rehab" is a swaggering, horn-driven classic, "You Know I'm No Good" is irresistibly cool, the title track is a sweeping wall-of-sound ballad, and "Tears Dry on Their Own" borrows the groove of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." Essential listening.
